Wealth For The People

To The Minister of Finance ( Zimbabwe Government), The Hon Tendai Biti MP

We want you to commit some of our diamond revenues toward poverty alleviation.

Reports we have seen recently indicate that we can now trade our diamond with the rest of the world and some have evn suggested that we have 25% of the world resources. Whether the figures stand true or not we want to implore your office to remember the poor in our midst particularly HIV/Aids orphans. We appreciate there are many competing priorities for these resources but our nation can not continue to rely on donors to take care of what is our responsibilty especially when God has blessed us with such a precious resource.

What we want from you Minister, is a public statement commiting some of this wealth toward assisting those less fortunate in our nation. Please live up to your electoral promises and deliver for the sake of the orphans.
